2010:

Pareto – Uppsalas samhällsekonomiska förening established in fall.

2011:

Pareto’s working language changed from Swedish to English.

Pareto officially establishes the ‘Educational Quality Improvement’ activities to assist the Department of Economics (NEK).


2012:

Board members with specific tasks (information, activities, social activities, lectures, contact) removed and board made more general so that members can work with whatever they are interested in.

2013:

Pareto’s educational involvement activities trigger a major change in the econometrics courses offered the master’s students during their 2nd semester. The class of 2015 were offered courses from NEK with more economic focus as opposed to B level courses offered to the previous students from the Statistics department.

Pareto decided to focus the organization’s activities mainly on master’s students (without excluding any other level students).

Pareto’s information made available only in English as opposed to both English and Swedish in the past.

Pareto managed own board space for promotional activities next to the lecture halls.

2014

Upon success with the newly admitted master’s students, the decision is made to extend the reach toward bachelor’s students.

Department of Economics (NEK) officially recognizes Pareto’s involvement with Economics students over Uppsala Ekonomerna and grants large funds to support Pareto’s activities.
