Upcoming Matlab Session on the 12th of May

Someone whispered in Pareto’s ear that fundamental knowledge in MATLAB is required for some courses next semester. Fear not, you non engineering people – Pareto is here to help economics students in need!

Next Friday, on the 12th of May, Pareto is organising a lecture covering the very basics of the MATLAB software. The lecture will last for 2 hours and include an introduction to programming concepts such at scripts, functions and objects. Then it will go into more details regarding MATLAB-specific functions, how to create variables and how to compute simple for- and if-loops.

Stata Session with Fredrik Hoyles

On the 7th of March, Pareto organised a Stata and Latex Session together with Fredrick Hoyles, who guided the second year students last year through their econometrics program. This was a great opportunity for the first year students to learn more about the two software programs for their current econometrics projects.

Case Challenge with Copenhagen Economics

For those of you have have missed out, we have another case competition planned, this time with Copenhagen Economics!
